More carbonated than Hefeweizen and lower in alcohol (3.8%), this 100% smoked wheat beer features light, citrus-like overtones with just a surprising hint of spice and smoke in the backnotes.

A straightforward nod to the Hainaut stalwart that captivated American brewers and beer drinkers when it arrived in the US in the 1980s. Brewed with 100% Pilsner malt, French Strisselspalt and Hallertau Blanc hops, and an expressive Belgian yeast strain, this beer is a rustic expression of straw and hat, grass and white grape aromas, while open-fermentation nurtures the notes of bubblegum and black pepper.
