A year ago, we released a beer we call Pils. Inspired by the ones Hagen and Bill enjoyed in Franconia, this pale lager is bitter, but not bracing, hoppy in good measure, and with a malt showcase like a fancy charcuterie cracker. 

It’s a fabulous beer to pair with food or just enjoy on its own, and now, it’s part of Dovetail’s core line-up of beers, joining Hefeweizen, Helles, Vienna Lager, and Kölsch. You’ll start seeing expanded distribution of Pils in Chicagoland, Wisconsin, DC/VA and NYC/NJ this year and we think it will be an excellent addition to your summer beer cooler.

Join us at the taproom on Thursday, March 6 at 5pm for a gravity keg tapping to welcome Pils into the Core family. Did we mention that Pils is very food friendly? Because you can put that to the test with Tacos Las Manitas, who will poppin’ up as well with her homestyle Mexican cooking.
